GETTING TO KNOW YOUR SALES AGENT
When you meet your E & D real estate agent for the first time, a one-on-one consultation will be scheduled. During this consultation your Agent will:
Pre-Qualify you based on your current earnings and dept. This will allow the agent to have some idea of the price range in which to begin looking for a home.
Discuss the type of home you are looking to purchase (See page 11).
Discuss Agency Disclosure. All agents are required by law to have new clients sign an Agency Disclosure Statement (see page 6). It does not, by itself, obligate you to work with this agent or his/her brokerage.
Your agent will explain in detail.
Split Agency- An in-company transaction. The seller and the buyer are each represented by two separate real estate agents who both work for the same brokerage.
Seller's Agency- the agent and the broker are required to act solely on behalf of the seller's interest.
Subagency- An agent of an agent; a person that an agent had delegated authority to, so that the subagent can assist in carrying out the principals order.
Buyer's agency- the agent and the broker are required to act solely on behalf of the buyer's interest.
Disclosed Dual Agency- One agent may represent both parties (buyer & seller) in the real estate transaction.
Complete this form and one of our agents will contact you. |
